Founding President
Prof. Oluwaseun Omotayo serves as the founding President of the Africa Sports Management Association (ASMA), bringing distinguished academic and professional experience in sports management to lead the organisation’s continental vision.
Under his leadership, ASMA is committed to strengthening sports management education, building capacity across African institutions, and advocating for the continent’s interests on the global sports stage.
Prof. Omotayo’s vision is to make ASMA the definitive home for every sports professional, researcher, and student across Africa — a place where ideas are shared, careers are built, and the continent’s sporting future is shaped.
